Understanding Your Dataset
What is a Dataset
- A Dataset is your database of Warmups, Exercises, Circuits and Circuit Sets. This Dataset can be edited to meet your workout needs.
Dataset Record
- Each item in your Dataset is a Record.
- Each Record will be a certain Type.
- The available Types are – Warmup, Exercise, Circuit or Circuit Set
- Each Record contains a field called Level.
- The Level is what determines the Record Type.
- Each Record Level field will have their Type, except Exercise.
- Exercise will have an actual Level for that Exercise.
- Available Exercise Levels are: Light, Medium, Heavy and Advanced
- By setting the Level to a meaningful value for you, you can filter your Exercises when you build Circuits or choose Exercises for a Workout.
Warmups
- A warmup is an exercise that is done to prepare you for your Exercises that follows.
- While editing exercises you will have an opportunity to add Warmups to an Exercise. For example, if you have an Exercise called Push Ups, you may want to add Arm Circles as a Warmup.
- During a Workout, the Warmups from all the Exercises will be displayed at the top of the workout session.
Exercises
- The Exercises can be edited to fit your workout needs.
- Edit general information on the Setup page.
- Workout information on the Workout page.
- Body area, muscles, movement and equipment can be set on the Details page.
- Notes, Instructions and Tips can be added on the Notes page.
Circuits
- A Circuit is a series of Exercises that make up your Workout
Circuit Sets
- A Circuit Set is a series of Circuits. If one Circuit is not enough for your, build a Circuit Set to have your Circuits served to you in the order you would like.
Editing your Dataset
- When you tap on the Cylinder on the Home Page, you will be presented with a list of Exercises in your Dataset. From here you can Manage the Dataset.
